There is only one place to get Hawaii HVAC training, Honolulu Community College. Located at 874 Dillingham Blvd, Honolulu, Hawaii. This community college has a Pacific, Asian and American cultural influences and its Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC)Technology Program offers HVAC related courses – Associate in Applied Science degree and Certificate of Achievement. Its RAC program have the the following subjects: Basic Refrigeration, Commercial Refrigeration, two Air conditioning subjects and Cooperative Education. These subjects have English and Mathematics prerequisite and co-requisite subjects. Located at 874 Dillingham Blvd, Honolulu, UHCC has industry advisory committees that make it possible to maintain strong ties with the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technology industry. RAC program graduates from UHCC are expected to gain employment in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning and at the same time have the knowledge and skills needed to repair and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration equipments according to National standards.
